Music video

The music video for "Batuka" premiered exclusively on Refinery 29 on July 19, 2019 shortly before being uploaded to Madonna's official YouTube channel. The video was shot off the coast of Lisbon and stars Madonna along with the Orquestra Batukadeiras and was directed by Emmanuel Adjei. Madonna stated that her dancing in the video was "organic and fluid". Speaking of the Orquestra she said "I just watched them move and joined them".
